Diversified Partners’ Emma Barreca Advances Major Retail Developments in Phoenix
Emma Barreca, associate broker and senior vice president of brokerage and development at Diversified Partners, handles tenant representation, site selection, leasing strategy, negotiations and development coordination. Her responsibilities focus on single-tenant net-leased properties and large-scale shopping and power centers.
One of her assignments is the 163-acre Destination at Gateway, a power center development at Signal Butte Road and the new State Route 24 interchange in Mesa. The project includes 24 Auto Row, an 80-acre purpose-built auto mall, and an adjacent retail power center with retail, drive-thru and pad opportunities.
Barreca also helped lead the redevelopment of The Links at Queen Creek, working alongside Diversified Partners CEO Walt Brown Jr. to manage tasks ranging from zoning and infrastructure coordination through buyer negotiations and closings. The project is expected to exceed $750 million when it is completed.
She works with junior agents on projects and has been named one of Arizona Retail Brokers to Know by AZ Big Media.
These are just a few reasons Emma Barreca is among the Phoenix & Southwest Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
