Wolansky With Marcus&Millichap Handles Retail and Net-Lease Transactions Across Houston Market
Alex Wolansky is a commercial real estate investment sales specialist with Marcus & Millichap, focusing on retail investment properties throughout Greater Houston. He leads the seven-member Lagos-Wolansky Retail Group.
Wolansky advises private and institutional investors on the acquisition and disposition of shopping centers and single-tenant net-leased assets, including 1031 exchange transactions and portfolio optimization strategies. By age 30, he had already completed over $500 million in sales volume and about 160 transactions.
Notable sales he handled include the 90,327-square-foot Providence Plaza (Houston), the 48,165-square-foot Crossing at Telfair (Sugar Land, TX), and the 42,332-square-foot Westheimer Lakes II (Katy, TX).
Wolansky actively mentors three agents, helping develop the next generation of commercial real estate professionals through training, deal strategy guidance and leadership support. Outside the firm, Wolansky is an active member and philanthropist in Houston’s Jewish Community, supports charitable and community-focused initiatives, and is engaged with organizations and causes that strengthen the local community.
Marcus & Millichap has honored Wolansky with its National Achievement and Sales Recognition awards and has been included on the Houston Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters Retail List.
These are just a few reasons we chose Alex Wolansky as one of Connect CRE’s Texas Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
