McKenna’s Auto Part Asset Specialization Boosts Matthews’ Platform
Matthews Real Estate’s Vice President and Associate Director Kevin McKenna specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant net-lease retail properties nationwide, with a particular focus on auto parts assets.
He advises clients through every stage of the transaction process, including underwriting, valuation, pricing strategy, buyer outreach, negotiation and closing coordination. His efforts have contributed to Matthews’ continued leadership in the auto parts investment space.
One recent transaction involved oversight of a $12-million deal on behalf of a private investor who transitioned out of a shopping center investment into net lease properties through a 1031 exchange.
McKenna has an active role in mentoring newer brokers within the Matthews platform. He currently mentors three agents, guiding them through the fundamentals of commercial real estate brokerage, including prospecting, underwriting, client communication and transaction execution.
Following in his family’s footsteps, McKenna is involved in local service and animal welfare in the communities where his family lives. He also participates in Matthews’ Corporate Social Responsibility program, which recently raised $10,000 for flood relief efforts in Kerr County.
McKenna received his company’s Pacesetter and Sales Achievement awards.
These are just a few reasons we chose Kevin McKenna as one of Connect CRE’s Texas Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
