Newmark’s Urban Retail Group, co-led by Executive Managing Director Matt Curtin and Senior Managing Director Greg Covey, includes Directors Nicole Nielsen and Alden Bush. Based in the firm’s Boston office, the team specializes in retail tenant and landlord representation in Greater Boston.
Together, the group has executed more than 100 retail transactions over the past two years and currently represents a prominent list of more than 80 clients, comprised of national and regional shopping, dining and wellness brands.
In 2024, the team closed on retail transactions totaling 144,000 square feet. Notable transactions included a 16,000-square-foot lease for J Crew at 38-46 Newbury Street (Boston, MA), Perigold’s 29,431-square-foot lease at Rosemary Square (West Palm Beach, FL) and a 15-year, 24,653-square-foot lease renewal for Apple at 815 Boylston Street (Boston, MA).
