Beatriz Azcuy is co-managing partner of Sidley’s Miami office, head of the Real Estate group in Miami, and Miami chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. She has 30 years of experience advising and representing financial institutions, investment banks, private equity funds, and other institutional clients in various commercial real estate transactions.

These involve multifamily, mixed-use condominiums, retail, infrastructure, energy, industrial, sports and entertainment facilities, and hospitality properties across the United States and Latin America. Her practice also includes selling, acquiring, developing, managing, and leasing various commercial real estate properties.

Transactions include representing LHP Hospital Group in its disposition and leaseback of Texas and New Jersey hospitals. She also represented a multinational power company in its $100 million acquisition of an Ohio industrial site.

Azcuy has received multiple accolades, including in Forbes’ inaugural “America’s Top 200 Lawyers” list, Women in Business Law Americas’ Real Estate Lawyer of the Year and GlobeSt.’s Woman of Influence.
