Member of ULI and CREW

Accolades include the Mecklenburg Times 50 Most Influential Awards

Since joining Gresham Smith in 2018 as a Senior Interior Designer, Sivilay Xayasaene has been promoted twice, first to associate and recently to senior associate. She is the local workplace market leader in Charlotte and is on track to becoming project executive.

Xayasaene and her family emigrated to the United States (from a refugee camp in Thailand) when she was 4 years old. Through the years, she used education to rise above her conditions, bringing others along as she became a successful businesswoman, entrepreneur, community leader, wife and mother. Before joining Gresham Amith in 2018, Xayasaene worked with the architectural firm LS3P.

She is a member of ULI and CREW (where she has co-chaired three committees) and mentors younger female staff in their career growth. She has served on CoreNet’s membership committee and participates in Leadership Charlotte. In the community, she is on Do Greater Charlotte’s board.

Accolades she received include the Mecklenburg Times 50 Most Influential Awards, The Share Charlotte Community Impact Award and the Gresham Smith Community Impact Award.

These are just a few reasons we chose Sivilay Xayasaene as one of the Atlanta & Southeast Connect CRE 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
