Participated in the $355-million sale of two apartments in Broward County
The Berkadia Miami Multifamily Investment Sales team was formed a little over two years ago in 2019, when Berkadia recruited two of the region’s top multifamily sales producers: Jaret Turkell and Roberto Pesant. Since then, the team has captured a significant share of the local multifamily sales market, closing some of South FL’s most prestigious and challenging property listings and representing a cross-section of leading national developers, institutional investors and private capital in the sale of Class A apartment properties, portfolios and land/in-fill sites entitled for residential development.
High-profile transactions that the Berkadia Miami team closed in 2021 include the $77-million sale of the 175-unit Domio, a mixed-use, new construction property in Wynwood, on behalf of Related Group; the $110.5-million sale of Beach Place Apartments, a value-add opportunity in Sunny Isles, on behalf of Jamestown, and the $355 million sale of two large apartment complexes in Broward County totaling nearly 1,000 units to Cardone Capital.
