Logan Greer is a senior director in the Seattle office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas, covering the Seattle and Portland regions. At the beginning of the pandemic amid shutdowns, Greer packed up her home in Portland, where she has lived for more than a decade, and relocated to Seattle to lead JLL’s office investment sales and equity placement team.
She and her partners are focused on building JLL’s market share in one of the most dynamic markets on the West Coast. In a normal year, this would seem to be a fairly easy task. But given that Greer specializes in office transactions, one of the hardest-hit sectors in commercial real estate, this task seems herculean.
Now, more than a year later, the team has completed several high-profile deals including The Net, a 36-story 812,000-rentable-square-foot class-A office tower development in Seattle’s Central Business District. The $650 million capitalization occurred in September.
Additionally, Greer has mentored multiple new analysts and brokers throughout the years and still participates in the JLL Capital Markets Mentorship Program, in addition to serving on the internship committee in Seattle. She has also focused on giving back to Seattle and the industry by volunteering to teach a real estate finance class at the University of Washington and advising nonprofit tenants like Bloodworks NW through the uncertainties of the pandemic.
