Beddard has been recognized as one of 30 Women to Watch by Utah Business Magazine

She credits much of her professional success to a conscious decision to look outside herself to inspire, uplift and mentor others

In a male-dominated field, Beddard feels it is extremely important and beneficial to support and encourage other women to be successful

In January 2021, Alison Beddard was appointed managing principal for Cushman & Wakefield’s operations for the state, overseeing the strategic growth of the firm’s business lines in the Seattle and Bellevue markets. In this role, Beddard leverages the firm’s robust global platform, supporting her market’s leading team of professionals and positioning clients to be at the center of what‘s next in the commercial real estate industry.

Her team consists of 55 professionals specializing in brokerage, research, valuation and advisory, asset services, project development services and global occupier services. To date, the organization has hired 14 new employees, added 5.5 million square feet of properties under management and brokered some of the most high-profile deals in the greater Puget Sound area, exceeding revenue expectations by 30 percent.

Beddard oversaw the successful strategic growth of Cushman & Wakefield’s Utah operations before assuming her new role and moving to the Pacific Northwest in January 2021.

Beddard also currently serves as chair of Cushman & Wakefield’s Americas Leadership Council for the Women’s Integrated Network, which she has also been a member for several years since its inception. She also currently serves as the chair of the recognition committee for CREW Network. Relatively early in her career at Cushman & Wakefield, Beddard found her true calling as a mentor to other women, which culminated in her election as president of CREW Network in 2017.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Beddard as one of the Seattle & Pacific Northwest 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
