David Druey

David Druey is Florida regional president for Centennial Bank, he oversees the bank’s branches throughout the Southeast, Southwest, and Central regions of the state, managing margins, costs, and efficiency, with a strong focus on asset and credit quality. Druey has been with Centennial Bank since its inception in 1998. The property types he is most active in are industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, residential, and retail.

Notable deals for Druey and his team in 2020 included a $33 million construction loan for Vox Miami, a $125 million mixed-use project adjacent to the South Miami Metro Rail, which serves University of Miami students as well as a $6.6 million construction loan for Amelia Mixed Use, a project in Hialeah. The deal was significant to the area as it represents developer interest in expanding west where there is more developable land at more competitive prices, bringing much-needed modern housing and commercial space to the neighborhood.

In addition, Druey secured a $9 million construction loan for the first phase of Orlando’s Celebration Pointe, a retail development in the rapidly growing Celebration submarket. The retail center will provide access to essential businesses, in addition to popular food chains to cater to the increased demand for lifestyle retail for the nearly 10,000 residents that live in the Disney-developed Celebration residential community.
