Maze has the unique ability to understand what is really important to a tenant in a successful location and communicate that to landlords.
Even during the pandemic with so much uncertainty, Maze simply kept working and adding value to his clients in any way possible even if the market looked very different.
Maze is great at quickly learning new markets, and has been able to see the potential for growth and upside in them before others.
Brett Maze is a vice president with the Austin commercial retail division of Weitzman. In this position, he specializes in general retail brokerage, including retail project leasing, retail tenant representation, and investment sales throughout the Austin area. Maze has represented several notable clients including ShopCore, KIMCO, Colina West, Cousins Property Co., Q Investments, Lincoln Property Co., LRIC and Novick Development. As a tenant representative, Maze’s clients include Rent A Tire, Wingstop, Massage Heights, The Gents Place, Sharpe Vision, Dogtopia and Fast Signs.
Maze has the unique ability to understand what is really important to a tenant in a successful location and communicate that to landlords. It is uncommon to have one or the other, but he has both skills.
For most, it was really difficult to stay upbeat, positive and consistent during the pandemic with so much uncertainty. Maze simply kept working and adding value to his clients in any way possible even if the market looked very different.
Maze is great at quickly learning new markets. He has been able to see the potential for growth and upside in them before others. This has enabled his clients to find value and market share in advance.
These are just a few reasons we chose Maze as one of the Texas 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
