Andy Heymann
Among Cushman & Wakefield’s top rising young brokers
One of the youngest senior directors across global platform
Co-led Chicago Chapter of Cushman & Wakefield Future Leaders in 2017 and 2018
Andy Heymann is among Cushman & Wakefield’s top rising young brokers. After serving as an intern with the company for two years while a student at the University of Texas, he started with Cushman & Wakefield in 2013 as an associate in office brokerage. Since then, Heymann has steadily progressed, achieving the role of senior director in 2019, one of the youngest to attain the title across the firm’s global platform. During his career, Heymann has completed 147 transactions totaling 3.48 million square feet, and valued in excess of $1 billion.
Heymann’s motivation and work ethic continue to be the cornerstone of his success. Awake at 4:30 a.m. each day to work out and arrive at the office well before his peers, his commitment and attention to detail transcend clients’ expectations, allowing him to continually uncover value.
“Andy is 15 years ahead of his peer group with his vision and ability to strategically lead pursuits,” says vice chairman Steve Schneider. “Nobody will out-work him, and his responsiveness and follow-up with clients is unparalleled. His focus and attention to detail means nothing gets missed or dropped in the process, whether it’s a pursuit, active project or just making sure our team is aligned and everyone is on task. Even at a young age, Andy is an insightful mentor to junior members of our team.”
These are just a few reasons we chose Heymann as one of the Chicago/Midwest 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
