Shannon Skinner is a practice area leader for K&L Gates’ global real estate practice. Skinner’s practice centers on commercial real estate and financing transactions. Her experience includes the acquisition, disposition and financing (construction and permanent) of office buildings, industrial properties, retail centers, hotels and mixed-use developments.
Skinner represents companies in the acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of real estate holdings. She has worked on a wide range of matters including data center developments, complex redevelopment projects and multi-state portfolio transactions. Skinner’s practice includes leasing, representing landlords and tenants in leasing office and other property types as well as build to suit projects.
She has represented many lenders in making permanent and construction loans including multi-lender facilities and developing lending policies and forms. The restructure, workout and exercise of remedies for troubled loans is also a part of her practice. In addition, Skinner has significant experience in public/private developments that are key to urban renewal projects.
These are some of the reasons that we named Skinner to our Seattle & Pacific Northwest grouping of Lawyers in Real Estate. These are real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in both their practice and the larger community.
