Shelby Duplessis Launches Diversified Future to Advise Developers and Investors
In 2023, Shelby Duplessis launched Diversified Future, a Scottsdale-based consulting firm advising developers and investors on strategic land and business development across Western states.
Her work includes feasibility, infrastructure, zoning, master planning and municipal approvals.
She manages a pipeline of eight multifamily communities, including 2,092 townhomes and 944 multifamily units, totaling $650 million. Her largest project to date is the 4,400-acre Laughlin Ranch redevelopment in Bullhead City, AZ. The proposed community includes approximately 9,600 homes and 2,666 acres designated for a potential light industrial district targeting industries such as semiconductors, aerospace, renewable energy technology and data centers. Duplessis is managing entitlement and repositioning efforts, including a major General Plan amendment and rezoning process.
Duplessis launched Passion to PowHer in 2023 to mentor and empower girls ages 13 to 22. She serves on Leadership West’s board and the Phoenix Children’s Hospital West Valley Council Board.
Honors include the Phoenix Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business award and Leadership West’s Alumni of the Year recognition.
These are just a few reasons Shelby Duplessis is among the Phoenix & Southwest Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
