Kimley-Horn’s Marianna Hunnicutt is President-Elect of CREDA’s Southern Nevada Chapter
Marianna Hunnicutt, vice president at Kimley-Horn, oversees a project portfolio that includes land-use planning, design and permitting for Resorts World Las Vegas, IKEA and the Intermountain Health Performance Center. She handles the 1 million-square-foot Smith’s cold storage distribution center at APEX Industrial Park and leads teams to support a 4,000-plus-acre mixed-use master-planned development in Northern Nevada.
Her responsibilities include strategic growth, client engagement, team development and supporting the Southwest region, which has more than 700 professionals.
Since joining Kimley-Horn in 2013 as a civil analyst, Hunnicutt has advanced through successive leadership roles, prioritizing professional development.
As an instructor in Kimley-Horn’s training programs, she teaches technical design, leadership, consulting and business development. Over five years, she has directly influenced the development of more than 500 professionals. She also supports recruiting, internships and advancement opportunities for women and underrepresented groups.
Hunnicutt is active in the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA), where she is president-elect of the Southern Nevada chapter. As a government affairs advocate, she works with agencies and the industry on issues including land availability, water resources and power demand.
Her honors include Engineering News-Record’s Southwest Region Top Young Leader recognition and CREDA’s Southern Nevada and National Developing Leader of the Year awards.
These are just a few reasons Marianna Hunnicutt is among the Phoenix & Southwest Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
