Cori English Created A Broker Training Program For Younger Professionals
Cori English is managing principal for Cushman & Wakefield’s Northern California East Bay and Central Valley markets. She oversees brokerage operations across Oakland, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, Stockton, Fresno and Bakersfield, with responsibilities including market growth, client relationships, recruiting, talent development and operations across office, industrial and retail.
English created Cushman & Wakefield’s NorCal Associate Broker training program for professionals with fewer than seven years in the business. The program subsequently expanded across the West Region, serving more than 90 emerging advisory professionals. She also helped develop the company’s national BrokerEDGE curriculum for associate and senior associate brokers and is involved in developing national early- and mid-career training programs.
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2021, she represented more than 11 million square feet of Class A office space in the San Francisco Bay Area for institutional investors. She helped reposition major assets, including high-rises in downtown San Francisco and a one-million-square-foot Alameda campus.
She serves on the CREDA Advisory Council and is active with CREW East Bay, the East Bay Economic Development Association and San Francisco CASA.
English has been recognized as a San Francisco Business Times Most Influential Woman in Bay Area Business, a Bisnow Bay Area Power Woman, and a GlobeSt. Woman of Influence. She also received Cushman & Wakefield’s Inspiration & Connectivity in Leadership Award.
These are just a few reasons Cori English is among the California Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
