Monica Moreira Leads Luxembourg Research Facility’s 100,000-SF Expansion
Monica Moreira, assistant vice president and senior project manager at Hobbs Brook Real Estate, leads the development of a specialized laboratory and research facility in Luxembourg designed to test building materials against extreme climate hazards. The project, which broke ground in March 2025, incorporates advanced technologies, alternative energy solutions and robotics and requires coordination among more than 30 client-side employees and 20-plus vendors.
One of Moreira’s most significant accomplishments has been incorporating a 100,000-square-foot expansion into the project during the advanced planning phase.
Moreira joined Hobbs Brook nearly five years ago after more than two decades at Margulies Perruzzi, where she was senior project manager and associate partner. Her career work includes a 191,242-square-foot headquarters for Forrester Research, a 329,000-square-foot customer service center for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, a 315,000-square-foot Waltham office campus and a 365,000-square-foot repositioning in Rhode Island.
She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society for Architecture. She serves as a technical and institutional resource for Hobbs Brook colleagues managing complex projects.
GlobeSt. Recognized her as a Woman of Influence.
These are just a few reasons Monica Moreira is among the Boston & New England Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
