Bronstein Oversees Development and Investment Platform for BHW Capital

Company:

BHW Capital

Matthew Bronstein is a Managing Director with BHW Capital. He oversees development, asset management, acquisitions, financing and capital markets, focusing primarily on Class A multifamily in Texas.

Bronstein assumed the lead in the development of the Park on Napoli, BHW’s 239-unit Class A multifamily community in Houston. As construction wound down, he assembled and led the on-site management team, achieving an on-pro forma lease-up. Following stabilization, Matt sourced and closed a cash-out permanent refinance in early 2025.

He also led the launch of the TriCoastal Capital Fund II, BHW’s discretionary committed-capital investment vehicle focused on opportunistic and debt-distressed multifamily acquisitions to counter early signs of stress in the CRE markets during 2023-2024.

Internally, Bronstein recruits new employees and summer interns, and is responsible for training these new hires in BHW’S acquisition analytics and due diligence processes.

Bronstein frequently participates as a panelist at CRE meetings and conferences in Texas.

He has been honored by GlobeSt (Aspiring CRE Leader) and the Houston Apartment Association (New Development of the Year).

These are just a few reasons we chose Matthew Bronstein as one of Connect CRE’s Texas Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
