Schuholz Oversees Capital Formation and Investment Activity for Origin Investments
Phillip Schuholz is a Senior Vice President and Market Officer for Origin. He is responsible for generating debt and equity investment opportunities for Origin Investments and its related companies. He is also responsible for initiating and maintaining relationships with developers and investment partners to identify opportunities throughout Texas.
In 2025, Schuholz completed the first acquisition for Origin Exchange, Origin’s DST/1031 program. The property in question was the Starling, a 300-unit multifamily Class A property in Princeton, TX (in Dallas’ far north submarket). The property was acquired at below-replacement cost, and the offering raised $40 million from investors.
Schuholz has expertise in identifying and completing transactions that involve complex state/municipal tax structures that provide substantial financial benefits to Origin’s investors. He also has an ongoing maintenance and enhancement role with Multilytics, the firm’s proprietary data analytics program.
These are just a few reasons we chose Phillip Schuholz as one of Connect CRE’s Texas Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
