BioMed’s Gomez Directs Facilities and Tenant Operations Across 2 Million Square-Foot Portfolio
Brenna Gomez is Property Manager with BioMed Realty, where she oversees approximately two million square feet of Class A laboratory and office space in Boston and Cambridge, MA.
She leads day-to-day operations through close coordination with finance, construction, leasing, legal, tax, risk management, IT and engineering teams, aligning asset performance with tenant needs. Her oversight of essential services, including security, parking, fire and life-safety systems, elevators, and janitorial operations, supports both functionality and strict regulatory compliance unique to the life sciences and technology industries.
Other tasks include rent role reviews, budgeting, and leading tenant improvement and building upgrade projects.
Through BioMed’s involvement in the Kendall Square Challenge, Gomez represented her team in a cross-company effort that brought together more than 40 organizations in support of local nonprofits. She has also contributed to the company’s work with CoreGiving by volunteering with Food For Free. She serves as Fundraising Chairperson for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Gomez is active with CREW Boston and sits on BOMA Boston’s board. She has been honored with BOMA Boston’s Larry Lenrow CRE Educational Scholarship and the organization’s Rising Professional of the Year and International Rising Star awards.
These are just a few reasons we chose Brenna Gomez as one of Connect CRE’s Boston & New England Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
