Spearheaded sale of Class AA+ Sudbury in downtown Boston

As a Managing Director in JLL’s Capital Markets group, Martha Nay co-leads one of the few female-led multi-housing investment sales teams in the highly competitive Boston market. During her 14-year career, Nay has played a significant role in underwriting and marketing over $10 billion in commercial real estate deals. Her most notable closing was in early 2024, spearheading the largest transaction in the Greater Boston area in two years, the sale of the Class AA+ Sudbury, a luxury core tower in Downtown Boston.

Nay plays a role in diversifying the next generation of commercial real estate professionals. By revamping the internship program and introducing career development days in Boston, she exposed individuals who needed industry connections to commercial real estate. As a result, the Boston office now enjoys a more diverse candidate pool. She also serves on JLL’s National DEI committee and spearheaded a company-wide initiative to enhance the maternity leave policy for all producers.

Outside of JLL, Nay is a member of the Builders of Color Coalition’s Capital Task Force, which expands commercial real estate financing for developers of color. She is also a Real Estate Finance Association board member and co-chair of the programs committee.

These are just a few reasons Martha Nay is among the Boston & New England Connect CRE 2024 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
