As Troutman Pepper’s partner, Anthony Greene leads the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. His clients include developers, investors, national tenants and landlords, lenders, and parties with interests in real estate of all sizes, ranging from individuals to publicly traded REITs. His practice includes office, multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use properties.
Representative matters include working on behalf of a 700-room convention center hotel developer in a Salt Lake City Opportunity Zone. He also represented a developer in the ground-up construction of a 530,000-square-foot office building in midtown Atlanta and a borrower in a $110-million ground leasehold refinancing of a San Diego convention center hotel.
Greene is recognized in Chambers USA as one of the leading lawyers for Real Estate in Georgia and in The Legal 500 United States for Real Estate. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (participating in the ULI Atlanta Center for Leadership), the International Council of Shopping Centers, NAIOP and the State Bar of Georgia’s Real Estate Section. He serves on the board of the Midtown Alliance.
Greene received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
