Responsible for real estate activities in Midwest and Texas
Efforts generated $125 million in value-added initiatives for the company
As The Home Depot’s Senior Real Estate Manager, Renee Janssen is responsible for new store development in the Northeast, Midwest and Southwest. She joined The Home Depot in 2015 and spent eight years honing her craft. One complex project involved re-using a former Maspeth (Queens) NY bottling facility into a THD store.
Her current geographic coverage includes assigned responsibility for all real estate activities in 10 Midwest states and Texas, including 450 existing stores. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of an extensive real estate portfolio, Janssen is responsible for all new store activities from site origination through documentation, entitlements and store opening. Her experience allows department leadership to leverage her knowledge in various stretch assignments. Her continuing efforts generated over $125 million in value-added initiatives for the company during her tenure.
