Greystone’s Kopecky Has Structured $7 Billion in CRE Financing Transactions in His Career
Jesse Kopecky is a Vice President on the Greystone Capital Advisors (GCA) team, where he focuses on structuring and arranging complex debt and equity solutions for institutional and private clients nationwide. He brings extensive experience across pre-development, construction, bridge, and permanent financing, with a concentration in multifamily and mixed-use projects. His work encompasses capital formation strategy through deal execution.
Kopecky’s transaction volume has exceeded $7.0 billion during his nearly decade-long career. Notable deals include an $800-million refinancing of 550 Madison Avenue, a landmark office tower in Midtown Manhattan; a $285.7-million bridge loan for a New Jersey Class A multifamily portfolio; and $525 million in construction financing for a 55-story condominium tower in Long Island City, NY.
He regularly engages with college students pursuing careers in the industry and participated as a panelist at an NYU industry event in 2025. He recently earned his M.S. in Real Estate Finance & Investments from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, completing the program while working full-time.
Kopecky was named to Commercial Observer’s “Top Young Professionals” list and New York Real Estate Journal’s “Ones to Watch — Rising Stars” in 2025. He has also been nominated for GlobeSt’s Aspiring Leaders of CRE recognition in 2026.
These are just a few reasons we chose Jesse Kopecky as one of Connect CRE’s National Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
