Ariel Property Advisors is a New York City-based commercial real estate services and advisory company with three main groups: Investment Sales, Capital Services and Research.  

The Capital Services team for Ariel closed 21 transactions valued at $70 million in 2023. The group prides itself on combining institutional level expertise with the customer service of a nimble team skilled at working through complex financial transactions. 

Over the past couple of years, Ariel doubled the size of its Capital Services brokerage team to better advise clients about their financing options. The team, comprised of Paul McCormick, Matthew Dzbanek, Matt Swerdlow, Ben Schlegel, Ryan Schwartz, Andrew Lazarus and John Fenrich, arrange financing for clients in New York City and across the country. They have developed a shared network of lenders nationwide and follow market trends to ensure that their financing roster is always up to date.  

Ariel’s Capital Services brokers work on an exclusive basis and run a process on each assignment, tapping into their nationwide network of lenders to ensure that they match each property with the right financial institution. A back-office team of analysts and associates underwrite each deal, producing a high quality, robust Offering Memorandum for each loan, which enables lenders to make informed and quick decisions when presented with an opportunity.
