Pete Evans is the senior managing director of investment sales at Berkadia Chicago. During 2023, Evans closed 10 transactions totaling $441.7 million. Evans’ experience as a multifamily loan underwriter with Freddie Mac and as an appraiser brings additional depth to representing buyers and sellers in land joint ventures, pre-sales, equity placement and the purchase/sale of apartment communities.
Notable transactions included the $43.5-million sale of the 180-unit Statesman Apartments in Franklin, WI. Other prominent deals encompassed the sale of the 395-unit Georgetown Apartments in Merriam, KS; the 336-unit Oaks of Vernon Hills in Vernon Hills, IL; and the 141-unit Mondial River West in Chicago.
