Jacqueline “Jackie” Barlow is President of U.S. Commercial Real Estate at CIBC, where she leads the bank’s CRE line, overseeing the teams that work with CIBC’s middle market, institutional and specialty lending clients, and real estate clients across the United States. She assumed her current role in February 2023.

During her near-decade tenure with the bank, Barlow built a team of top talent professionals who embody CIBC’s client-centric culture. She leads them in identifying and responding to changing market opportunities and risks and ensuring proactive engagement with clients and stakeholders to ensure CIBC is regarded as a trusted advisor.

Barlow is a member of CIBC’s US Region Executive Committee, the CIBC Global Leadership Team, and the US Region’s Management Risk, Credit Risk, Asset and Liability, Capital Planning, Inclusion and Diversity and CRA Investment Committees.

One of her core values is giving back to her community. She focuses her energy on providing resources to underserved communities and facilitating the growth of diversity in her community. She has served on various nonprofit boards, including Oak Park Regional Housing Center, Hephzibah Children’s Association, Oak Park Economic Development Corp, and Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
