Advises CGI Merchant Group with the launch of its Hospitality Opportunity Fund I
Jeffrey Temple is the co-chair of Morrison Foerster’s U.S. Real Estate Group. He has over 35 years of experience representing a broad spectrum of clients making investments in, acquiring, financing, developing, operating and selling large commercial real estate assets. Temple regularly advises institutional lenders, private equity investors, investment fund sponsors, REITs, foreign investors and family offices. Additionally, Temple is a member of the firm’s Distressed Real Estate Group, representing clients in loan restructurings and workouts.
Temple led the U.S. Real Estate Group in representing Mori Trust in its nearly $1-billion investment in 245 Park Avenue. He is a key real estate advisor to CGI Merchant Group, assisting the client with the launch of CGI Hospitality Opportunity Fund I, LP. He also represented RH (formerly known as Restoration Hardware) in a series of investments in the Aspen, CO real estate market structured as joint ventures.
He is recognized by The Best Lawyers and The Legal 500 U.S. Temple and earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.
