Ward Richmond wrangled a market-leading year of deals in 2021, despite the worldwide supply chain crisis and increasing labor costs. Continuing momentum from the rise of e-commerce and home shipping curing the COVID-19 pandemic, Ward represented numerous top global brands wishing to embrace new technology to transform their traditional distribution centers into more highly automated centers.

Some of Ward’s notable 2021 transactions included Gulf Relay’s 350,150-square-foot lease in South Dallas (doubling the company’s North Texas shipping facilities) and development of Gap Inc.’s 850,000-square-foot, $140-million distribution center in Longview, TX.
