One of the team’s most unique assignments in 2020 was The Economist, a 97-unit, newly constructed luxury multifamily community in Denver.

The Economist was a $20.4 million acquisition while the property was finishing its lease-up and moving toward stabilization.

The Denver-based team of Brady O’Donnell, Jill Haug and Jeff Halsey is one of CBRE’s most active debt and structured finance teams. The team supports multifamily, industrial, office and retail property types, completing 92 deals in 2020 totaling $1.945 billion in transaction volume. While the COVID-19 pandemic introduced widespread uncertainty to the market, this team stepped up to help its clients navigate unprecedented complexities throughout the year.

In those positions, she worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards, strategic marketing plans and thought pieces. Brown is a frequent speaker at industry events and an editing adjunct professor for an online course. She has a master’s degree in mass communications from San Jose State University.
