At Newmark in Washington, DC, Catherine Cheng takes the lead on valuations and analysis for multifamily investment sales in the Mid-Atlantic region. Colleagues say she has an acute attention to detail that helps the team analyze potential operating efficiencies for multifamily owners while determining how to position an asset’s pro-forma in a manner to facilitate aggressive underwriting by buyers.
In addition to her analytical role, Cheng has created strong relationships with her peers at the firm and with Newmark’s clients, which has allowed the group to grow its business. She was promoted to VP of multifamily capital markets in March of this year.
