Allie Apple Negotiates Multibillion-Dollar AI Data Center Projects
Allie Apple, a partner at Troutman Pepper Locke LLP, has built a 16-year career in commercial real estate and construction law, advising owners, developers, contractors and other project stakeholders on contracts, risk allocation and disputes. Her work involves data centers, multifamily, retail, manufacturing, energy and infrastructure.
Apple advises a leading global technology company on guaranteed maximum price and related contracts for multibillion-dollar AI data center projects along the East Coast and negotiates construction and engineering agreements for Norfolk Southern infrastructure projects involving rail crossings in more than 15 states.
Her energy-sector work includes engineering, procurement and construction agreements for solar projects, as well as dispute resolution for solar and wind projects nationwide. In metro Atlanta, she represents community improvement districts, including the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District and the Airport South, Fulton and DeKalb Perimeter CIDs, on infrastructure and development projects.
Apple joined Troutman Sanders as a project assistant before law school, became an associate in 2015 and was promoted to partner in 2024. She was the only woman partner in the firm’s construction group at the time and remains one of two.
She chairs the Atlanta office’s recruiting committee, participates in the firm’s mentorship program and serves as an Inclusion Partner. She also mentors undergraduate and law students and provides pro bono legal assistance to low-income cancer patients, veterans, artists and others. Apple is a member of the American Bar Association Construction Forum, Atlanta Bar Association and National Association of Women Lawyers, among other organizations. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers and Southeastern Legal Eagle.
These are just a few reasons Allie Apple is among the Atlanta & Southeast Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
