Kriegsman Leads Capital Markets and Equity Fundraising at Lion Real Estate Group
Ben Kriegsman is Lion Real Estate Group’s Vice President of Capital Markets, where he oversees the firm’s equity fundraising, capital deployment, and broader capital markets efforts. He helps source investment capital, leads equity fundraising initiatives, structures debt financing, evaluates capital markets conditions, and structures recapitalizations and joint ventures.
In his career, Kriegsman has managed over $1.25 billion in complex real estate transactions and spearheaded large-scale acquisitions across diverse asset classes. While at Lion Real Estate Group, he has contributed to more than $755 million in completed real estate transactions across the Southeast and the Sun Belt. He has also helped lead the deployment of $750 million in equity raised to date through the firm’s nationwide acquisitions platform.
He supervises the firm’s fundraising platform and leads analysts and associates responsible for structuring complex capital solutions for Lion’s fund, co-investment, and syndication businesses. He also works closely with asset management, property management, and construction management teams.
Kriegsman is committed to community leadership and service, particularly within the Jewish community. A Brawerman Fellow with the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, he mentors the next generation of young leaders and shares insights through various speaking engagements. He is a frequent volunteer with Our Giving Kitchen (OGK), an initiative of the Chabad of Dallas.
These are just a few reasons we chose Ben Kriegsman as one of Connect CRE’s National Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
