Leasing Total
200,000-plus square feet
Melissa L McDonald with the Providence Group represents junior box retailers and restaurants including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, Homesense, Sierra, Michaels, Ulta, Five Below, Sola Salons, West Marine and Shake Shack along with regional restaurant and retail groups. She handled leases totaling 200,000 square feet in 2025.
Her notable transactions involved securing leases on behalf of Rise Partners to bring Marshalls, Home Goods, Five Below and Ulta to a redeveloped shopping center in Conway, SC. She also brought Marshalls, Home Goods, Michaels, DSW and other tenants to a new Target-anchored center in Mebane, NC. McDonald also secured leases for retailers at Edgewood Square (North Augusta, SC).
These are some of the reasons we selected Melissa McDonald as one of Connect CRE’s Atlanta & Southeast Top Broker Award winners for 2026. These awards recognize industry professionals who have demonstrated the highest standards and transaction volumes in investment sales and leasing.
