Kyle Yamamoto is the senior vice president of CBRE’s Seattle Multifamily Team. He is one of three partners who lead the region’s institutional platform, which specializes in multifamily investment sales of 100+ unit properties and land development sites. He has brokered over 100 sales exceeding $5.5 billion. Over his 10-year career at CBRE, he’s been involved in over 300 sales exceeding $15 billion.

In 2023, Yamamoto was part of the second-largest multifamily transaction in Seattle, a $107-million suburban multifamily sale. Other notable transactions included the $33.8-million sale of a suburban multifamily asset in Bothell and a $10.9-million multifamily land development site transaction.

Yamamoto leverages his background in finance to mentor financial analysts on the multifamily team and assists CBRE’s research team with quarterly market reports and thought leadership research briefs. He is a member of the ULI and NAIOP Washington State chapter and NAIOP Developing Leaders.

He is an active alumnus of the University of Washington. He provides mentorship, networking, and internship opportunities to undergraduate students across various programs, including the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and UW Sales Program. CoStar recognized him with its Power Broker Award for Top Sales Broker (Seattle/Puget Sound).

These are just a few reasons we selected Kyle Yamamoto as one of Connect CRE’s Seattle & Northwest 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
