Jamison Shields
Rebuilt Colliers Portland’s office's industrial data model
Created the Portland CRE Trends and Outlook report
Jamison Shields’ role as a Colliers’ Portland team research analyst extends far beyond traditional research duties, encompassing data analysis, visualization, financial modeling, and GIS analysis. His keen analytical skills and innovative approach have enabled our team to provide clients with invaluable insights and informed real estate decisions. His efforts helped Colliers increase report downloads by 80%, boost total visitors by 70% and raise new visitors by 320%. His efforts have also boosted page views by 270%.
Shields rebuilt Colliers Portland’s office and industrial data model, reducing reliance on outside data sources. He launched a collection of GIS-based maps, digital reports and resources and created a widely distributed and read Portland CRE Trends and Outlook report. He is a member of the Colliers Research Application Product and Colliers National IRS Migration Data Project teams. He is Colliers Practice Group Research Liaison for the company’s U.S. Hospitality Practice Group.
In addition to involvement with the 2023 Colliers Mentorship Program, Shields is active in the community as treasurer with the Oregon State University Oregon Alpha Alumni Association and land use officer with the Martinazzi Woods Community Involvement Organization.
These are just a few reasons we selected Jamison Shields as one of Connect CRE’s Seattle & Northwest 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
