Represented homebuilder client in its $1.5-billion portfolio sale

As a partner with Akerman LLP, Amanda Gunter is an experienced commercial real estate attorney focusing on complex commercial real estate contract negotiations for acquisitions and dispositions. She serves on the Akerman team as outside counsel to one of the country’s largest homebuilders. Within the past year, Gunter represented this client in selling a portfolio valued at approximately $1.5 billion to a real estate investment management firm.

Before joining Akerman, Gunter was a real estate associate with Broad and Cassel (which later merged with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough). She has been involved with the commercial real estate industry for 10 years.

Real Estate Law named Gunter a “One to Watch,” Onyx Magazine honored her as one of its “Women on the Move.” She mentors paralegals at Akerman and instructs them on all aspects of real estate transactions. She is an active member of CREW Orlando and participated in Leadership Orlando.

These are just a few reasons we selected Amanda Gunter as one of Connect CRE’s Florida & Gulf Coast 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
