Leads the proposed 63-acre mixed-use Little River District Project
Nick Swerdlow is Swerdlow Group’s Vice President. He handles financing, leasing, design and construction coordination for projects in the company’s portfolio; he also communicates and coordinates with Swerdlow Group’s key partners and professional service providers, including architects, lawyers, financing firms, government officials and community organizations.
Swerdlow has been involved with Sawyer’s Walk in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood. Sawyer’s Walk comprises 1.4 million square feet of space in the historically black community of Overtown. The development will add 175,000 square feet of retail space, 578 housing units earmarked for low-income seniors, and 120,000 square feet of office space acquired by MSC Group that will be the home of MSC Cruises new North American headquarters.
Swerdlow also leads the proposed Little River District project, a 63-acre, transit-oriented development of 7,513 units and 600,000 square feet of commercial space.
He is a member of ULI and Ransom Everglades Alumni Association and has donated to and volunteered with non-profit organizations, including Feeding South Florida and the Southeast Overtown CRA.
These are just a few reasons we selected Nick Swerdlow as one of Connect CRE’s Florida & Gulf Coast 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
