Since joining Horvath & Tremblay in 2018, Vice President Spencer Norton has developed a strong track record in the Merrimack Valley area of Massachusetts. As a VP, he focuses on the sale of multifamily and mixed-use properties.
Norton has carved out his place in the market with several major sales in the Merrimack Valley. Most recently, he facilitated the sale of the Union & Grove Portfolio, a 36-unit multifamily property in Methuen, MA, the American Woolen Mills, a 42-unit, low-income housing tax credit asset in Lawrence, MA, and Waugh & Cross, a 31-unit, three building multifamily portfolio in Lowell, MA. One of his most impressive transactions is the sale of the Manor Drive portfolio in Groveland, MA, a 60-unit portfolio consisting of 13 multifamily buildings on over 14 acres of land.
During the COVID-19 pandemic as well as in the more recent high interest rate environment, Norton has proven himself to be exceptionally adaptive and resourceful. Despite major slowdowns in the industry as a whole, he has continued to actively communicate and provide value for his clients, serving as a valuable resource for market information and advisement. Notwithstanding the challenges, Norton has continued to improve his results every year of his career, culminating in a record year for him in 2023.
These are just a few reasons we selected Spencer Norton as one of Connect CRE’s Boston & New England 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
