Menashe Properties Expands Chicago Office Portfolio
Oregon-based Menashe Properties has once again expanded its Chicago office portfolio with the $56.5 million acquisition of 180 N. LaSalle, a 38-story, 800,000-square-foot landmark tower in the heart of the city’s Central Loop.
Menashe first entered the Chicago market in 2023 with the acquisition of 230 West Monroe, a 29-story, 707,000-square-foot office tower. In 2025, the company bought 125 S. Wacker Drive in the city’s West Loop.
180 N. LaSalle offers immediate access to Chicago’s financial district, public transit, and the James R. Thompson Center redevelopment, which is expected to bring more than 2,000 Google employees in the coming year. “Chicago presents some of the most compelling office investment opportunities in the country,” said Jordan Menashe, CEO of Menashe.
Menashe has retained Stream Realty Partners to oversee business operations, with Managing Director Mark Bâby and Executive Vice President Wendy Katz managing leasing for the property. Director Brian Keaty will lead property management and tenant services.
