Priya Coffey Helps Establish Jackson Walker’s Land-Use Practice

Company:

Jackson Walker

Priya Coffey, managing partner of Jackson Walker’s 114-lawyer Houston office, represents buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants, including clients such as Highland Resources, Pennybacker, Skanska and Stream Realty. She represents landlords in downtown Houston office buildings totaling nearly five million square feet. She manages leasing, landlord-tenant disputes, and operational matters for Sugar Land Town Square, a premier mixed-use development.

Coffey represented a Houston developer in leasing for a Lower Westheimer mixed-use project, a major beer distributor in acquiring land and developing a Pasadena distribution center, and North America’s largest liquor distributor in acquiring an industrial facility in Katy.

Coffey helped establish the firm’s land-use practice, developing expertise in Houston’s land-use regulations, tunnels and skybridges.

She serves on the firm’s Management and Compensation committees and co-chairs its Business Development Committee. She also mentors attorneys, supports lateral and law school recruiting, and helps introduce high school and college students to real estate law.

Her community involvement includes serving on the boards of Central Houston Inc. and Recipe for Success, participating in Covenant House’s Executive Sleep Out to raise funds for homeless youth, and supporting the Greater Houston Partnership’s Executive Women’s Partnership and the University of Chicago’s Houston Regional Council.

Coffey’s honors include recognition in The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law and Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers.

These are just a few reasons Priya Coffey is among the Texas Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
