Elizabeth Burnett Oversees Slatt Capital’s $5B Portfolio

Company:

Slatt Capital

Elizabeth Burnett is a principal and managing director of loan servicing at Slatt Capital. She oversees the company’s $5 billion portfolio of approximately 1,200 commercial real estate loans across 41 states. She leads 15 servicing professionals and manages relationships with 28 correspondent lenders, primarily in the life insurance and commercial mortgage-backed securities sectors.

She helped modernize the company’s 1Point technology platform, integrating financial, insurance, compliance and loan-event functions while maintaining uninterrupted service across a multibillion-dollar portfolio. She has also managed complex loan assumptions, partial releases and defaults.

Burnett joined Slatt in 2022 and became the firm’s first female principal in 2025.

She has taught for the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Commercial Certified Mortgage Servicer (CCMS) program since earning the designation in 2016 and served as an instructor, oral exam panelist and conference moderator. Burnett trains Slatt employees on servicing practices, technology and lender requirements.

She is chair of the MBA Servicer Council and the CCMS Society’s Philanthropic Subcommittee, which supports the MBA Opens Doors Foundation.

These are just a few reasons Elizabeth Burnett is among the National Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
