Generated a deal volume in 2022 that exceeded $5 billion

Closed on 171 transactions

The Berkadia Florida Mortgage Banking team seized the top spot in the annual ranking of commercial lenders and brokers in Florida this year, closing more than $5 billion in commercial loans in 2022. Led by Senior Managing Director Mitch Sinberg, the team includes Senior Managing Director Charles Foschini, and Managing Directors Matt Robbins, Scott Wadler, Brad Williamson and Christopher Apone.

In 2022, the team drew upon its longstanding agency lending relationships, along with relationships with life companies, banks and more than 100 debt funds.

Notable deals included a $165-million refinance loan for the 306-unit, mixed-use The Dorsey; a $100-million construction loan to develop the 358-unit Gardens Residence and a $64.1-million acquisition loan for Arbors at Carrollwood.
