Represented PG&E in its $800 million downtown San Francisco headquarters sale
Affirming the resurgence of confidence in the office sector, CBRE’s Darcy Stacom and Bill Shanahan led the sale of Hudson Commons — at 441 Ninth Avenue in Manhattan — in December 2021, the first $1-billion building sale in New York since the onset of the pandemic. In San Francisco, they sold PG&E’s downtown HQ campus for $800 million, which allowed PG&E to return $400 million in net savings to customers over a five-year period.
Other 2021 transactions included the sale of a 45% interest in One Park Avenue for $875 million, a 49% interest in 1177 Avenue of the Americas for $858.5 million and full interest in Black Rock, the CBS HQ building at 51 West 52nd Street, for $760 million.
