Alexandra Lehson focuses her practice on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including complex commercial financings on behalf of lenders and borrowers, acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. She has extensive experience and particular strength in deals connected to the hospitality and REIT industries and is also active with the origination, servicing and workouts of loans on a nationwide basis.
Lehson’s practice also includes structuring transactions for optimum documentary stamp and intangible tax treatment. She is frequently lauded for her ability to spot issues in complex transactions that often go unseen by other attorneys and for her deep knowledge of FL documentary stamp and intangible taxes.
Lehson has served as lead legal counsel on some of the most transformative deals and developments — collectively worth billions of dollars — that have shaped South FL over the past several years.

- Leading the team that represented the Parkway REIT in connection with the acquisition of 21 office buildings across the southeastern US and the back-to-back sale of 18 of the buildings.
- Negotiating a $558-million condominium construction loan for the groundbreaking high-end development Estates at Acqualina, a two-tower, ultra-luxury residential project in Sunny Isles Beach, FL.
- Assisting a joint venture between PTM Partners and Estate Investments Group in connection with a $55.4-million mortgage loan from Bank OZK and additionally an $18-million mezzanine loan from Nationwide Life Insurance Company to finance the construction of 360 new, attainably priced, first-class apartment units in the Overtown Opportunity Zone of Miami.
- Representing All Aboard Florida in obtaining nearly $200 million in construction financing for mixed-use transit-oriented development centers.
