Christy Pennington with Clark Hill Leads More Than $2B In Real Estate Transactions
Christy Pennington, a member at Clark Hill, advises developers, property owners and institutional clients on complex acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leases and incentives.
She has led more than $2 billion in commercial real estate transactions since joining the firm in 2023.
Her representative work includes acquisition, ground-lease, development and incentive matters for House of Tangram’s planned 30-acre, $2.5-billion entertainment and lifestyle district in Mansfield, anchored by a new FC Dallas stadium.
Pennington also structured infrastructure reimbursement incentives and closed land sales totaling $11.5 million in Grand Prairie. Additionally, she oversaw approximately 47 leases and renewals totaling over $22 million for a national automotive parts distributor.
Pennington is active in CREW Dallas and serves as a trustee of CREW in the Community. She is chair-elect of the organization for 2027 and will become chair in 2028. At Clark Hill, she co-leads the firm’s BOLD initiative, which supports women’s professional development, and mentors junior attorneys.
She was named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honor limited to approximately 1% of licensed attorneys, and received Connect CRE’s Lawyer in Real Estate Award for Texas. She was also named a Deal Maker of the Year by Bisnow DFW and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for real estate law.
These are just a few reasons Christy Pennington is among the Texas Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
