Yellow Bee Market & Café to Open New Location at Washington Apartments

Yellow Bee Market & Café has leased 4,500 square feet at TRAXX Apartments in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. This will be the second shop, in addition to the company’s first store, located in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood at  Vulcan Real Estate’s Cypress apartment building.

The new space sits adjacent to the Mountlake Terrace light rail station and is expected to open in late 2026. Kidder Mathews Senior Vice President Kelly Gaddis and Senior Associate Mia Ponce represented Yellow Bee Market & Café in the lease.

Yellow Bee offers a curated neighborhood market, a full hot deli, and a café environment. “It’s fantastic to see a local entrepreneur growing with this kind of momentum,” said Gaddis. The market’s origins trace back to Founder & CEO Brian Hoang’s family-owned Asian grocery business, established in 2008.

“Brian has built businesses that reflect what people in the Seattle area want—good food, thoughtful spaces, and everyday convenience. This expansion shows how strongly that perspective resonates.”
