Yellow Bee Market & Café Opens at Cypress Apartment Building
Yellow Bee Market & Café, a locally-owned international grocery and grab-and-go store designed by Tiscareno Associates, is now open in Vulcan Real Estate’s Cypress apartment building in Seattle’s Yesler neighborhood.
The 4,500-square-foot store fills a void in Yesler, where the nearest grocery store is approximately a mile away. With Yellow Bee, a Hong Kong Market brand, and Malubianian, a Sichuan skewer hot pot restaurant slated to debut later this year, the 8,300-square-foot retail space at Cypress is fully leased. The market and café blend serves Asian-inspired delicacies from bánh mì sandwiches to bubble tea, alongside a selection of traditional grocery staples like fresh produce, meats, and bread.
“Yellow Bee aligns seamlessly with the needs of Yesler residents. Working alongside the Yellow Bee team to enhance accessibility to fresh food options for the community has been an invaluable collaboration,” said Robert S. Arron, Senior Director, Marketing and Leasing at Vulcan Real Estate.
