Where to Go for Ugly Christmas Sweaters

National  + Weekender  |

The Holiday season is coming up quickly. The Holiday season means family, food . . . and ugly sweaters. Jeremy Turner, recognizing that such sweaters are now a popular thing, will be opening his Ugly Christmas Sweater Shop in pop-up stores, throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Ugly sweaters start attracting interest in November, and are all but gone by New Year’s Day. “You get this short amount of time to do your thing, so we really have to get the word out,” Turner told Crain’s Dallas. Channels for doing so include social media, press and ads.

What is the advantage of a two-month tenant for the landlord? Turner said that the space is filled for at least a short time, and it can create a great deal of buzz for the center. “I’m sure you’re increasing your chances of getting that space leased,” he added.
