Weston Urban Projects July as Start Date on San Antonio Mixed-Use Project

It took awhile to lock in all of the required approvals but it now looks like Weston Urban is ready to get going on a 16-story multifamily project in San Antonio. Weston Urban hopes to get started on the project this July. Once the location of the former Continental Hotel, public filings indicate the company may spend $150 million on building 290 residential units. Earlier reports indicate the company will also include retail and office as well.

Weston Urban acquired the land from the city of San Antonio. The project would occupy a slot in-between the existing Continental Hotel building and the Arana building. Its plans call for the utilization of remnants of the old hotel. The real estate firm got final design approval from the Historic Design & Review Commission for the Continental’s renovation in August.

The company’s expected completion date is August 2024. The 16-story multifamily tower is slated to come online in July 2025.
